History of Hemp

Industrial hemp, or Cannabis hemp L., subspecies sativa, is differentiated from the more well known drug in that is has minimal amounts of tetrahydrocannabional(THC), which is the psychoactive agent found in Cannabis sativa L., subspecies indica.

Virtually every other country in the world capitalizes on the myriad applications of industrial hemp, except for the U.S.

According to Time Castleman, author of Hemp Biomass for Energy, "Industrial hemp can be grown in most climates and on marginal soils. It requires little or no herbicide and no pesticide, and uses less water than cotton."

The plant has a rapid growth period, enabling farmers to produce multiple crops per year depending on the location.

Greener Global Solutions

Greener Global Solutions is a Portland, Oregon‐based company that will manufacture hemp biofuel.

Biodiesel is the fastest-growing renewable fuel in the U.S. In 2006, demand for biodiesel exceeded production by 200 million gallons and the need for biofuels has continued to rise.

Much of the growth in this industry has been sparked by high oil costs and the public's increasing desire to diminish their overall environmental impact by using more eco-friendly fuels.

Greener Global Solutions, Inc. (also referred to as “The Company”) that will offer a new biofuel made from hemp. This new biofuel burns more efficiently than the current biofuels on the market and can be manufactured more economically.

Greener Global Solutions Inc. will manufacture its hemp biofuel in Canada and import the final product to proprietary stations throughout the U.S. The Company will also use industrial hemp byproducts to create textiles and building products, and it will donate a portion of sales to non‐profit organizations (My Green Thumb - My Green Heart), demonstrating its commitment to sustainable living in operations and philanthropic support.
